Fast build, firm offtake

The plant now enters several months of testing and ramp-up, with full commercial operation targeted for September–October 2026. Once running at capacity, Tauhei is expected to generate around 280 GWh a year — enough for roughly 35,000 homes — under a 10-year power purchase agreement with gentailer Meridian Energy covering 100% of output.
