Why wind stow belongs in the RFQ

Stow strategy affects more than controls: it influences torque-tube loading, driveline selection, foundation reactions, row spacing and operational procedures. A tracker comparison should therefore use the same wind basis, terrain assumptions and module configuration for every bidder.

Land use and operating envelope need validation

ARRAY also says the configuration can fit up to 6.3% more installed capacity on the same land area than designs with bearing-housing gaps. That type of claim is a useful design input, but developers should validate it against actual setbacks, topography, drainage and maintenance access.

Buyer impact
